Warframe: The Icebind Is Live, Taubound Starts October 15

The new mode supports six players. The forthcoming Tau event and its permanent prologue have different quest prerequisites.

Digital Extremes enabled The Icebind on October 7. This Warframe mode was previously planned as Glacial Defiance for Iceblade of Narin and delayed for additional development. The launch announcement now confirms availability; October’s calendar alone would not have established server availability.

The Icebind supports groups of up to six and is described as a demanding activity for advanced loadouts. The monthly plan specifies up to three participations per week. Its own mode description governs exact rewards and entry prerequisites, rather than rules borrowed from an older event.

Two Routes Towards Tau

Epoch Operation: Taubound runs October 15 to November 17. For the participation described in the calendar, Tenno should complete Vor’s Prize before October 15. That is the stated event entry condition.

A separately announced permanent prologue differs. First-time Vessel control requires The Hex and The Old Peace. Do not silently turn this longer chain into a prerequisite for every Taubound activity; conversely, Vor’s Prize alone does not guarantee the Vessel prologue.

October also includes Nights of Naberus and returning Hallowed Nightmares. Daughter exchanges seasonal customisations for Mother Tokens. The calendar ends the Halloween offering on November 2 at 11 a.m. ET. Germany and North America change clocks on different dates, so preserve the timezone and separately check conversions.

Returning players therefore have different tasks: check existing quest progress, prepare an Icebind loadout and observe each event window. A blanket list of “all October content unlocked after quest X” would lose these distinctions.
